Quade Mitchell

Quade is a third-year Kaitono (Cadet) at Tātau Tātau Horticulture – Haumako in Wairoa, where he plays a key leadership role in orchard operations and cadet development. Dedicated and hands-on, Quade brings experience in pruning, pest and disease management, machinery operation, and spray application. A proud representative on the Health & Safety Committee, he’s committed to workplace safety and mentoring new cadets. Quade has earned Level 2 and 3 horticulture qualifications and is currently studying Fruit Production. Passionate about the outdoors and driven to grow, he hopes to inspire others to see horticulture as a rewarding career path — while one day stepping into a foreman role himself.
