Jake Jansen

Jake was born and raised in Opotiki, where he grew up on dairy farms before making the switch to horticulture. Jake is currently a trainee orchard manager with Seeka and has entered the Young Grower competition to expand his knowledge, meet new people, and develop his networking skills. Jake is excited to learn from others in the industry and become more effective in his current role. This is a great opportunity for Jake to challenge himself and keep growing professionally. When he isn't working, Jake enjoys mountain biking and getting outdoors.
