Kirby Douglas

Kirby Douglas is a Crop Supply Agronomist with Juice Products New Zealand, working closely with growers on crop establishment, monitoring, harvest coordination, and factory supply planning. He also leads field-based agronomy and research projects aimed at improving crop quality and commercial production outcomes. Kirby holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture) from Lincoln University and has worked in a variety of agricultural research, technical, and farm operations roles across New Zealand and Australia. Through the Young Grower competition, he hopes to expand his industry knowledge, strengthen his leadership and communication skills, and build valuable connections while gaining a broader perspective of New Zealand horticulture.
