Luke St John

Luke is a Trainee Orchard Manager at Fortune Fruit, where he works across both orchard and packhouse operations. He began with the company in the 2019/2020 season in the packhouse and has since progressed into a leadership role, managing packhouse teams while contributing to orchard activities throughout the year. His responsibilities include staff training and supervision, spraying, machinery operation, pruning, and overseeing day-to-day operations. Passionate about understanding every aspect of orchard performance, Luke is driven by continuous improvement and producing high-quality fruit. Having previously competed at a national level, he is entering the competition to challenge himself further, expand his industry network, and continue developing his skills. Outside of work, Luke enjoys skiing, gardening, going to the gym, walking his dog, and spending time outdoors. He aspires to one day own and operate his own orchard.
