Jacob Preston

Jacob Preston is the Farm Manager at Eyrebrook Fresh Limited in Christchurch and has worked in the horticulture industry for the past 10 years. A Canterbury local, he completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Horticulture) at Lincoln University and has developed extensive experience in vegetable production and farm management. Jacob is passionate about continually improving his skills and sees the Young Grower competition as an opportunity to further develop his leadership, technical knowledge, and industry connections. He is committed to contributing positively to New Zealand’s horticulture sector. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys serving at his church and spending time with his wife Molly, family, nieces, and nephews.
