Douglas Roper

Douglas Roper comes from a family farming background in Lincoln, where Roper and Son Ltd grows onions and pumpkins. Having spent much of his life involved in farming operations, Douglas has developed a strong appreciation for working outdoors and contributing to the agricultural sector. He is currently studying for a Diploma in Agriculture at Lincoln University and is keen to continue building his practical and technical knowledge. Douglas is entering the Young Grower competition to challenge himself, learn from others within the industry, and gain new perspectives that will help him develop both personally and professionally throughout his agricultural career.
